Eclipse: Prometheus Rebound?

You can attempt to eclipse my radiant Solar self or pass the blanket of darkness in front of my milky-gilt Lunar side, but you will never extinguish my light because all eclipses pass…

…and your need for a dark, dull and muffled covering to hide the true me from the rest of the world was ever doomed to failure.

You are not Prometheus, to steal firelight from the Divine spark of another’s Olympia, though you may find yourself bound, and eclipsed, as a result of your own actions.

Ask instead, Oh sad purveyor of pointless Eclipsian control, why your own light is so dim and uncertain that you need to switch out the bright energy and vibrant rays of another.

Why, my very name means light!

I shine on…
