In my garden’s soil,
Flowers, fruit and herbs brighten:
Rainbow-coloured hope.
In soul’s wounded soil,
Fear’s grey ash receives love’s seeds:
Healing spreads deep roots.
Soil soaks up my tears,
Sun triggers magical growth:
Plants thrive, give delight.
When I, too, am culled.
Winter-thin branches cut down:
Soil will pack the wound.
Now, alive, fingers thrive
In dark, worm-glistening soil:
I plant my heart deep.
Lovely words. Lovely garden xxx
